"Hello, my name is Steve Shipowick.  I know it's an unusual name but it's Ukranian.  I was born in New York but my parents moved to Canada where I spent the next 12 years of my life. My parents then accepted a mission call to Singapore, along with myself and three brothers. We lived there for 6 years. On my return for college in Tennessee, I met my future wife, Florence Evans, at Southern College (now Southern Univ.). Pastoral duties included Wisconsin, Ohio, New Jersey, and, since 1991, the great state of Washington.  My wife grew up in a small town in Illinois and we have three children: Justin, Amanda, and Tara.  Justin recently married a beautiful young lady named Adriana, so now we have a daughter-in-law and are anxiously looking forward to grand-children.
