Welcome to the Lacey Seventh-day Adventist Church, a faith-community of people who believe in the literal and soon return of Jesus Christ.  We accept the full and complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who gave His life upon the cross to save us from our sins and to provide us a new and wholesome way of life.  His present intercession for us in the courts of Heaven is on-going and is a basic foundation in what we believe and why we exist.  Another reason for our existence is found in Matthew 28:19, 20 where Jesus instructed us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to those who have not heard of Him.  Through His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ has made it possible for everyone who desires eternal life to live with Him forever.  This good news is what we want to share with our neighbors, revealing it in our personal daily lives and also teaching it through our many programs and activities we conduct each week.

SABBATH SCHOOL:  When you choose to attend, plan to arrive about 9:30 AM for a time of study where various classes discuss Bible topics from a Bible study guide.

WORSHIP SERVICE: Our worship service follows at 11:00 AM.  We start out with some contemporary praise songs and read from the Bible.  A freewill offering is taken but it is just that, voluntary.  Feel free to pass the offering basket along.  You are our guest. We have some prayer time and special music, along with traditional hymns sung during the service.  The Bible study is given by the pastor, an elder, or a visiting speaker.  We always invite God's presence into His house to worship with us and to turn our hearts towards Him.

SPECIAL NEEDS: For those of you with special needs, our buildings are easily accessible and are single-story structures.  There is ample space inside the sanctuary to accommodate wheelchairs.

PUBLIC TRANSIT: The Lacey Seventh-day Adventist church is accessible by two Intercity bus routes (66, 68) and by Dial-A-Ride. Our campus is wheelchair accessible.

AUDIO CHALLENGED: Our public address system is equipped with hearing-assisted devices, which can be obtained from the PA operator prior to the start of services.

WHAT YOU SHOULD WEAR: We believe that God Himself descends from Heaven through the presence of His Holy Spirit during our worship service and that the church is holy because of this Presence. Therefore, we strive to dress appropriately, as if we were going in to see the president of a country or a king. We only ask that you dress nicely, even if all you have is a t-shirt and jeans.  Christ never turned away anyone because of how they dressed and we don't believe that either.

CHILD CARE: Many folks want to know if there is child care provided. We have several programs designed especially for children that start at 9:30 am on Saturday and last about one hour.  Children can attend various classes, according to their age group.  We offer something for all children from newborns through young adult.  The child receives a magazine at the end of the class filled with stories and a Bible lesson.  This is free for them to take home.

We would be honored to have you visit us any Saturday morning.  Feel free to ask questions and ask us to pray with you.  Come as you are.  Jesus Christ accepted everyone as they were and we do as well.  We look forward to greeting you and making you feel at home.
